Assorted Images

Working as a photojournalist can be exciting at times and incredibly boring at others. Typically my
day was consumed with rather mundane duties such as photographing meetings, civic activities and
various check and trophy presentations. As I ran from assignment to assignment I tried to keep my eyes
open for images that might be of interest to my editors. Below are a few surviving examples

The original railroad tracks photo left was then reversed, center and right, printed high contrast
On weekends I often would join my buddies cruising Lancaster Boulevard, between Sierra Highway
and 10th Street West. Always looking for interesting and unusual images for the newspaper, I created
these multiple images by shooting time exposures and then sandwiching the negatives in the darkroom.
